We’ll walk you through the YouTube Music app settings if you’ve ran out of internet and want to keep listening to music. So that you may download audio and video and listen to music without needing to connect to the internet.

Before we get started, it’s important to note that you’ll need a YouTube Music Premium membership to download YouTube material and listen to and watch it offline. This feature will be disabled if you do not have a premium account.

So, if you don’t have this sort of account, don’t waste your time doing the steps in these instructions. You won’t be able to do that, and the option to do so won’t even show up.
Tap on your user symbol in the top right corner of YouTube Music after it’s open.

Then, in the listening choices, go to the “Settings” area.

Select Downloads and storage from the drop-down menu. There are a few items you’ll want to personalize. The first is whether you want to download only the audio or both audio and video for offline listening. Choose a video quality.

If you just want to download audio, choose Audio, or one of the two video options if you want both audio and video.

Choose Low, Normal, or High from the Audio Quality menu option this time, depending on your preferences. Keep in mind that the greater the quality, the more storage space the downloaded files will demand.

Now it’s time to have some fun! Select a song from YouTube Music that you wish to download. Tap the 3-dot button to the right of the song title while the music is playing.

You must now choose “Download” from the drop-down menu.

The status of any download will be displayed in the bar at the bottom of the program.
